Blaine Kern's Mardi Gras World features the eccentric float artwork of famed float-artist Blaine Kern including the 140-foot Leviathan float, still considered to be one of the great floats of all time. It is located on the east side of the river, across from the Riverwalk Marketplace. Also on display at the gallery is the Captain Eddie's S.S. Endymion, a 240-foot, quadruple tandem float, the glows with tens of thousands of fiber-optic lights.
Open daily 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Adults $17; Seniors (65+) $13; Children (4-11) $10.
You have the wrong address. New location is 1380 Port of New Orleans Place, on the riverfront where Henderson Street meets the river behind Hall J of the Convention Center. Very cool!
