The Fire Department Museum uses an impressive collection of artifacts and memorabillia to explore and chronicle the engaging history of the New Orlean's Fire Department. The musuem is located just north of the riverfront, near the Clay Playground. Some of the museum's more interesting artifacts include historic photos of former firefighters in action, and a 1927 vintage Ahren Fox fire engine.
