The 400-acre historic Audubon Park houses the Audubon Zoo, the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas and the Entergy IMAX Theatre, in addition to other parks and educational facilities dedicated to the appreciation of nature. Containing some of the most popular family-oriented attractions in New Orleans, the Audubon Nature Institute complex features indoor and outdoor animal exhibits, educational film and beautiful parks. For a nominal fee, visitors who purchase a combination pass for more than one attraction can ride the Audubon Express Shuttle between points. Formerly the site of the 1884 World's Fair, the park is located on the riverfront in downtown New Orleans, just south of the Loyola University - New Orleans campus.
