This Classic Revival style house was once home to cotton broker Edgar Bloom Stern, and today is considered to be one of the finest examples of architecture and manicured grounds in the country. Featuring eight acres of gardens and a magnificent collection of American and English antiques, Longue Vue House & Gardens is located in the Metairie district of the city, just south of the cemetery. Each side of the 20-room house has been designed with a unique facade. .
