I would recommend Haydel's. There prices may be a little high but it is worth it. There cakes are delicious. I say instead of Gabino's get Haydel's. A reason is because Gambino's worker can have attidude at times. And there prices are rediculous. I asked for a cut out cake for a child to feed 30 people. They said it would be $300 dollars! Are they crazy? I wanna buy a cake not the whole store!

Absolutely the most non-customer oriented business I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. They are arrogant and difficult to deal with. If I could bake worth a damn, I could put them out of business by simply answering my phone... Fedex your wedding cake from Houston or Atlanta,

We at Haydel's deeply apologize for Iwc099 highly isolated incedent. This posting was just brought to our attention by a valued customer. We are family owned and operated since 1959. When a customer is not satisfied we make every effort within reason to rectify any problem. This problem with Iwc099 did occur during one of the final weeks of the Mardi Gras Season. During the final weeks the volume of orders reaches capacity! We make every effort to cater to all customers but I must admit that we are human! We at Haydel's are committed to providing our customers with the quality and service they deserve! Our commitment stands strong we have been providing the NEW ORLEANS community with products for nearly 50 Years. Provides excellent King Cakes year round with any size cake shipped overnight. I ate their products every since I was a kid and I am 65.

I GOT MARROED IN JUNE 2006 AFTER KATRINA. THEY WERE THE ONLY BAKERY THAT HAD EVERTHING I WANTED. tHEY WERE EVEN ABLE TO MATCH THE CAKE WITH MY WEDDING COLORS ( SHADES OF BROWN). EVERYONE COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW BEAUTIFUL IT WAS
